ABOUT THE ROLE….

We’re looking for a positive and motivated Buyers Assistant to join our Buying Team! Someone who has exceptional attention to detail, strong administration skills & who can manage multiple tasks at the same time. Your goal is to support the Head of Merchandise in delivering a shoe range which excites our customers, through ensuring we have the right stock, in the right stores, at the right time.

You will have previous retail experience, ideally in footwear, must be good with numbers and be able to utilise strong administration skills to raise orders and complete various administration tasks to support in delivering the range to stores.

There will be opportunities to take on various responsibilities and to develop your skills. You will work closely with the Head of Merchandise who will coach you to grow your knowledge and abilities.

ABOUT YOU….

The successful candidate will be a person who displays the following skills and attributes:

Proven administration skills

An ability to analyse data and have strong financial acumen, you need to be good with numbers

Strong problem solving skills

Personal leadership and able to self-manage

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Strong relationship building skills

Previous retail experience

Effective teamwork, communication and time management skills

Enjoys a fast paced environment and can stay calm under pressure

Has a passion for fashion footwear, retail and buying

Is dedicated, motivated and friendly!

Previous experience in a buying office environment is preferred.
