Currently The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (RBCH) includes Royal Bournemouth Hospital, Christchurch Hospital and a Sterile Services Department at Alderney Hospital.

Among which is the proposed merge with fellow acute hospital Poole Hospital. It is a condition of employment that all staff being recruited in the period before merger will work across all sites pre and post-merger

Ward 15 is keen to recruit a ward clerk to join their team!

We are the Urology and Gynaecological unit and are set within the surgical directory.

We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail, has a good sense of humour and is able to keep calm during pressured times. The individual must have outstanding customer care skills and likes an organised methodical approach to work. The Ward Clerk is an extremely key player in the team and the individual needs to feel confident and working alongside nursing staff, patients, the general public and medical staff. The role of the Ward Clerk is quite diverse from answering the phone, creating outpatient appointments, meeting and greeting patients, ordering ward stock supplies and using computer skills.

The successful candidate will work in conjunction with our part time evening ward clerk.

Full time/ Part time/ Monday – Friday 08:00-16:00 (excluding Bank Holidays)
