Liaising with management and interrelated departments with respect to warehousing operations
Transpose Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), Single Point Lessons (SPL) & Safety information
Submitting various requests, for example Maintenance & I.T., using the applicable Henkel internal systems
Participates in housekeeping, cycle counting, stock takes and stock checks
Participates in risk assessment activities, hazard identification, safety audits and Root Cause Analysis
Storing, picking, checking, packing & shipping of goods and materials in accordance with appropriate procedures and regulations using warehouse tools and equipment and licensed and non-licensed material handling equipment
Certificate 3 in warehousing and logistics would be ideal
Highly developed level of interpersonal, numeracy & communication skills
Possesses intermediate to high computer skills, including input data entry and retrieval
A knowledge of SAP ERP and proficient use of Excel would be a plus
Perform work requiring minimal supervision either individually or in a team environment
Knowledge of overseas booking processes and chain of responsibility requirements
Understands the need for high quality control standards while undertaking duties in a safe and responsible manner
