Role Summary:

As the Web Content Administrator, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, editing, and publishing compelling organizational web content for Volkswagen Automotive Clouds websites, communities and other relevant applications. In addition to overseeing web presences, you will maintain the information architecture and content so that it is accurate and up to date while ensuring that all sites are creative, informative, and easy to navigate. Our ideal candidate has a hands-on and collaborative approach to manage and support cross-departmental digital projects, including working with product management and product marketing teams.

Role Responsibilities:

Lead the content strategy and publishing process for the Volkswagen Automotive Cloud developer & customer communities
Create, manage and moderate customer and developer community groups within the Volkswagen Automotive Cloud Portal
Generate weekly and monthly customer engagement and community activities reports
Create, manage and curate customer and developer knowledge management articles, Frequently asked questions and online support documentation
Quality assurance testing on published web content
Create pages and manage layouts/web content across the developer and customer communities
Incorporate user experience UX principles and customer-first mindset into web content, navigation, and design.
Create content taxonomy and ensure all content is properly tagged for optimal search results
Research, write and present content in ways that appeals to targeted audiences across a spectrum of digital media channels (namely website, and landing pages)
Proofread and edit page content including page design layout to ensure compliance with Volkswagen standards and industry best practices.
Coordinate with various administrative and departmental groups to produce, maintain, and edit web-related content in a variety of formats including (but not limited to) web pages, portal channels, newsletters, blogs, articles, and surveys.
Create, edit and manage content such as graphics, photography, video, and text to ensure it remains relevant, current and has a consistent style and voice.
Address website accessibility issues and maintain ADA compliance for web content.
Participate in groups and committees related to web-based technologies and governance.
Identify and evaluate new products and technologies for possible implementation; maintain current knowledge of technological advances and industry trends.
Perform related duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

5+ years of web content administration experience
3+ years of experience in digital content management

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Desired Education:

MBA or other Master’s Degree

Required Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze and think quickly
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Self-motivation and ability to stay focused amid distraction
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt quickly
Experience with web content management solutions like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), WordPress, Drupal or Salesforce Community Cloud (DXP)
Passion for new technologies and working in fast moving markets
Familiarity with knowledge management and technical article systems. Preferably Salesforce Knowledge
Experience with 508 compliance requirements
Experience in creating, managing and moderating community forums or groups
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and best practices
Experience with developing web site performance metrics.
Experience selecting, creating, and guiding visual content for the web (photos, advertising banners, video, etc.).
Knowledge of monitoring tools on web servers or web sites.

Salesforce Community Cloud Certification
Salesforce Administrator Certification

Work Flexibility:

Must be able to travel domestically and internationally when required
Occasional extended working hours as needed
