Yard General Labourer/Clean-up

Full-Time Position

Department: Shipping

Location: Burnaby & North Vancouver

We are looking for positive, energetic, able bodied individuals to join our Shipping Team. A General Labourer/Clean-up is responsible to maintain yard upkeep to company standards & perform tasks assigned by the shipping department.

Principal Responsibilities:
Walk up & down aisles clearing debris & collecting waste material

Organize lumber stacks & merchandise.

Maintain a clean & tidy yard throughout the day.

May provide some customer service in the yard.

Ideal Profile:
Punctual and reliable.

Positive attitude & team oriented.

Able bodied with a full range of motion.

Good communication skills

Follow direction well & complete tasks in a timely manner.

Working Conditions:
Exposure to dust, dirt and extreme changes in temperature and weather when working outside.

Moderate exposure to personal risk – safety boots are required.

Busy, high volume environment.
